Thriving local brewing its own good value Swansea ales, usually three of these along with well kept guests, reasonably priced straightforward food, friendly staff, unpretentious quarry-tiled bar with massive solid fuel stove, comfortable lounge; TV for rugby; children welcome, open all day.
Good Pub Guide
‘One of the best and best value pubs in the County. Tremendous beer and large reason
ably priced food menu. Shame it isn’t within safe walking distance of my house.
Lovely old pub with an open fire and seats outside for the summer.’
Theres a brewery on site here, brewing great real ales…but don’t expect to see Three Cliffs Gold, Deep Slade Dark and Original Wood on supermarket shelves just yet as most of the beer is sold locally.
